About Us
The Hispanic Business Student Association was founded at Texas A&M University in 1992 and flourished for 16 years. In 2009, the National Hispanic Business Association was absorbed by ALPFA National. As a result of this historic merger, the HBSA student chapter at Texas A&M University is now officially recognized as ALPFA at Texas A&M.
The 2015-2016 academic year will recognize our 7th year as an ALPFA student chapter. ALPFA National celebrated its 42nd Anniversary in 2014 with more than 20,000 members spread across 40 professional chapters and over 100 student chapters, and counting! ALPFA at Texas A&M is a professional, business organization at Mays Business School and is represented under the ALPFA Houston Professional Chapter.
